About Appalachian Farms
Nestled in the mountains outside of historic Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Appalachian Farms encompasses approximately 15 acres of working farmland surrounded by the natural beauty and outdoor traditions of Schuylkill County.
Appalachian Farms is a short drive to Jim Thorpe, Lehigh Gorge, Hawk Mountain and Tuscarora State Park.
Why It Matters
This is the land where the owner of Appalachian Farms grew up. Here, hard work was a way of life. The fields and woods taught responsibility, perseverance, respect, and the value of finishing what you start. Those lessons would later become the foundation for a long career in military aviation.
Today, Appalachian Farms carries those lessons forward. Though the acreage may be smaller than it once was, the purpose remains: steward the land responsibly, honor what came before, and preserve something meaningful for the next generation.
